On May 7, Shanghai SAKA Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. (SAKA) completed its investment and shareholding partnership with Ningbo Kaitou Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd. (Kaitou Fund). At the same time, the company, in collaboration with Ningbo Qianwan New Area and Binfu Capital, successfully facilitated the establishment of a production base for the high‑end precision 5‑axis CNC machine tool industrialization project in the Ningbo Qianwan New Area. The project, with a total registered investment exceeding RMB 100 million, has been filed with the Ningbo Municipal Development and Reform Commission and is scheduled to commence construction within the year.
SAKA has long been focused on the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of high‑end 5‑axis CNC machine tools for composites. Its products are widely used in aerospace, automotive, new energy, and other industries. The company currently operates two production bases—one in Nersingen, Germany, and the other in the Shanghai Lingang Large Aircraft Industrial Park. Its wholly‑owned subsidiary, MAKA Systems GmbH, is firmly established among the global first tier of the 5‑axis CNC machine tool industry.
As a core equipment supplier for China's large aircraft program, SAKA has been continuously providing high-end production equipment for the C919 and has successfully won the bid for the C929 pilot production equipment supply project. Our downstream customers cover core manufacturers in the large aircraft industry chain, including COMAC, Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC), and CNBM Aviation. This investment and the establishment of the production base mark a strategic step for Kaitou Fund in the new arena of aerospace equipment, and represent a significant achievement of the company's collaboration with partners in implementing the “investment‑driven attraction” approach.
Upon project completion, we will work hand in hand to empower the industrial ecosystem of Ningbo Qianwan New Area, supporting Ningbo in building a nationally influential aerospace industry cluster.
